01 / The person behind the science

Curiosity is the starting point.
Purpose sets the direction.

My work in oncology RNA vaccines has shaped how I approach therapeutic innovation: with scientific depth, thoughtful experimentation, and a focus on the people new treatments could help. My broader interests span RNA therapeutics and biologics.

As a Group Leader at BioNTech US, I lead a scientific team where biology, technology, and translational thinking meet. I’m drawn to questions that connect rigorous research with the possibility of better health.

Beyond individual experiments, I care about the teams we develop, the decisions we make, and how scientific progress can improve lives across communities. That ambition is global, with particular attention to South Asia.

02 / Areas of focus

A broader perspective.

01

RNA therapeutics & biologics

Building on my work in oncology RNA vaccines, I’m interested in how RNA-based approaches and biologics can contribute to new therapeutic possibilities.

02

Scientific & team leadership

Leading people and programs with clear scientific priorities, collaborative thinking, and space for researchers to do their best work.

03

AI & therapeutic innovation

Exploring how AI-enabled design and testing can inform better questions and more useful experiments, with RNA design as a particular area of interest.

04

Science for human impact

An ambition to improve human lives through scientific progress, with a global outlook and particular attention to health needs and opportunities across South Asia.

03 / Looking ahead

Scientific progress.
Human purpose.

I’m interested in the connections that help science improve lives: between RNA therapeutics and biologics, between discovery and development, and between scientific advances and the health needs of different communities.

My ambition is to contribute to better health and better lives around the world. South Asia holds a particular place in that vision: a region where scientific collaboration and therapeutic innovation can help address meaningful human needs.
